This product is designed to be intuitive to setup and operate, and to provide many years of trouble free service. However, we recommend that you take a few moments to read through this User Guide in order to get the best possible experience with your new pedal.[/vc_column_text][title text=”Background” text_align=”left”][vc_column_text]The Mission HR expression pedals are designed to work optimally with Headrush products. There are two HR expression pedal models: EP-HR and SP-HR. The EP-HR is compatible with any Headrush device that has an external expression pedal input. The SP-HR includes a switch that works with the toe switch input on the Gigboard

Depending on the device, the expression pedal can be used to control variable parameters such as volume, wah, pitch, and other amp and effect parameters.[/vc_column_text][title text=”Connections” text_align=”left”][vc_column_text]The EP-HR has one 1/4″ TRS output on the left side marked OUT 1. Connect this to the expression pedal input of your compatible Headrush device with a 1/4″ TRS cable. The other inputs and outputs on the pedal are unused and blanked off. Make sure to use a TRS (stereo) cable. A regular TS instrument cable will not work. TRS cables are available from the Mission store.

The SP-HR has a second output for the switch control. Connect this to the toe switch input on the Gigboard. External expression pedal toe switch support is available on the Gigboard only. The switch can be left unconnected when not required, or if the connected device does not support it.

Either a TS or TRS cable can be used for the TOE connection on the Gigboard. A TRS cable must be used for the EXPR connection.[/vc_column_text][title text=”Power” text_align=”left”][vc_column_text]The expression pedal and switch functions are passive. The expression pedals do not require a separate power supply or battery.[/vc_column_text][title text=”Configuration” text_align=”left”][vc_column_text]After connecting the pedals, it is necessary to configure the Headrush device settings to tell it what you want the expression pedal to control.

The procedure is different depending on the Headrush product, and is documented in your Headrush product User Guide.[/vc_column_text][title text=”FAQ” text_align=”left”][vc_toggle title=”Can I use the SP-HR with the Pedalboard?” el_id=”1476643080597-d81b4b24-b6c2″]Currently the Gigboard is the only Headrush product that has a direct on board toe switch input. The Mission SP-HR was designed specifically for use with the Gigboard. The expression function will work with other Headrush products and the switch output can be left unconnected. The toe switch cannot be directly connected to the Pedalboard. If you need external toe switch control, you would need to use a MIDI adapter.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Can I use the EP1-HR with the Gigboard?” el_id=”1476647986878-79b0b865-daa6″]Yes, the EP-HR can be used with the Gigboard for expression control, and the TOE input can be left unused or connected to an additional switch.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Can I use other Mission pedals with Headrush?” el_id=”1476643509992-2b4b15da-38ba”]The Mission EP-HR and SP-HR are the only Mission supported expression pedals designed for use with Headrush products. We do not recommend or support the connection of other expression pedals.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Can I modify my other Mission pedal to work with Headrush?” el_id=”1476647442835-33caac17-1590″]Making modifications, alterations or component changes to Mission products is not supported.
